Blue Chip is located on a two-acre horse property in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado, which is about 13 miles south of downtown Denver, right in the middle of the Denver Tech Center. Amazingly, this town has managed to preserve primarily agricultural zoning while high rise office buildings go up nearby. For dog people, |

it's wonderful - no limits on dogs and no leash laws! Almost all of the neighbors have dogs and many have horses. Below are Dash and Dottie, Blue Chip's Leopard Appaloosas. The Dals can't quite figure out whether they're just extra large relatives or Great Danes wearing costumes, but either way they all get along! |

All the dogs at Blue Chip live inside, in a playroom next to the kitchen. Dog doors provide access to a small exercise yard all day, and a 3/4 acre field (below left) is dedicated to dogs for "serious" playtime as well as agility training. Another area of the property is being prepared for full size ring areas to allow conformation training and fun matches to be held onsite. |
