Dalmatians are very intelligent, beautiful animals and make wonderful pets and competitive show dogs. In general, the care required for Dalmatians is similar to any other breed. Dals are not plagued by many health issues, but deafness and urinary stones are present and should be understood.  Their short coats make them very easy to groom and keep clean, but Dalmatians shed - alot!
